About the Instructor:
Robert F. Raya Jr.
Mr. Raya is owner and the lead instructor of Amerishield Training Academy. Mr. Raya is a licensed Level III (#J02845) and Level IV (#W00354) classroom instructor with the State of Texas.
Mr. Raya is highly experienced in leading, planning, staffing, and implanting new technology, operations, and training of security organizations throughout the U.S. and abroad. He has conducted mounted and dismounted combat operations with Infantry, Cavalry, and Special Operations Units in the U.S. Army. He has formally instructed military personnel on lethal and non-lethal weapons systems and ammunitions and well as foreign personnel on tactics and weapons in Korea and Kuwait.
He is trained in cross-functional team building and leadership, organizational development, and quality/performance improvement. Robert has traveled, lived, and/or worked in over six countries. He is a 20-year retired veteran of the U.S. Army.
